Founded in 1947, the South Korean technology giant Samsung produces refrigerator/ fridges in a wide range. Samsung manufactures and ships refrigerator in more than 80 countries and have 370,000 employees working with it.
Samsung introduced India’s largest capacity refrigerator (890 liters) side-by-side refrigerator, the RS844CRPC5H in July 2012. It was unveiled with Space Max Technology which decreases the width of walls inside the refrigerator for more storage space. As the inner walls get reduced user can store big items and also the refrigerator consumes 40 % less power as compared to conventional refrigerator.
In 2014, the company introduced total frost free refrigerator lineup with Digital Inverter technology that enables users with flexibility and assistance needed by consumers to store food items for longer period of time. Company launched total frost free range in total 45 variants available in sizes from 255 liter to 555 liter with price tag from Rs. 20,000 to 21,0000.
Samsung also named to launch world’s first convertible refrigerator with one touch easy to convert from fridge to freezer and vice versa. This is also the world’s first refrigerator to come with dual fan technology. Some most popular refrigerator types from company are Food Showcase, French door, side by side and top mount freezer.
