Originally established in 2014, Obi Mobiles rebranded to Obi Worldphone in 2015. The company is designed and founded by Ex- CEO of Apple John Sculley. It aims at offering good quality product with latest technologies under affordable prices. Obi manufactures smartphones running on Google’s Android operating system.
Company launched its first mobile in July 2014, Octupus S520. This device has rolled- out with a 5.0- inch display, 1GB of RAM, Android Kitkat, 8GB internal storage, 8- megapixel rear and 2- megapixel front camera.
In 2015, with the name tag of Obi Worldphone the company entered in Indian mobile market as a part of its second inning. Recently, this mobile growing giant introduced its SF1 and SF1.5 with more improved quality and a bit high end specs. Both the phones shipped with a 5- inch IPS display, dual-SIM connectivity and a 3000 mAh battery.
