LG mobiles are part of LG Electronics Inc., headquartered in Yeouido-dong, Seoul, South Korea. The company was initially started as Goldstar in 1958 and later changed its name to LG. In started the company entered in mobile market with its featured handset/ mobile.
LG has introduced its first Google’s Android operating system running smartphone in 2009. The company got popular after the launch of its G- series mobiles. It launched G2 in August 2013 with specs and features including 5.20-inch FHD display, 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 3000 mAh battery, 16 GB internal, 4G connectivity and weighs only 143.00 gram. Later in August 2014, it introduced successor of G2 called as G3.
LG rolled- out its first Windows 8.1 mobile OS smartphone in May, 2015. The device was named Lancet features a 4.5-inch (480x854 pixels) LCD display and processed by a quad- core snapdragon 410 processor. Before Lancet, LG had launched its G Flex2 in April 2015 fitted with a curved display and priced in Rs. 54,990.
Recently, the company is officially announced to launch successor of G4, G5 at CES 2016.
