Celkon founded in 2009, headquartered in Hyderabad, Telgana. Initially, the company begin with manufacturing and assembling its devices in China and Taiwan. Later as a part of “Make in India” project company set up its manufacturing and assembling unit in India.
Celkon manufactures mobiles running on Google’s Android OS based smartphone and Microsoft’s Windows OS based smartphones. The company is famous for providing smartphones under budgeted segment in India. It is also named as sixth largest mobile phone manufacturer of India.
Recently, the company launched its first Windows OS running device in December 2014, named Celkon Win 400. The phone features a 4-inch HD (480x800 pixels) IPS display, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (MSM8212) alongside 512MB of RAM. Some of recently launched Celkon mobiles are Millennia Everest, Millennia 2GB Xpress, and Campus A402+.
